Version 3:
1. Implements a delegation method.
· This allows remote process creation without configuration. A user logged on at a Windows NT Workstation can place processes on remote hosts, without being configured. This will work within an NT cluster only.
2. Provides a client / server installation.
· The client installation will keep a trust base data locally, so that individual configurations or trust bases can be set, depending on the host. A server type will query the information from the Domaine Server
3. Sets tighter security on the trustbase.
· The file access type has been restricted to admin privileged users only.
4. Load a user's registry keys and environment variables.
5. Allows remote installations.
· Typically, software has to be installed on each machine seperately.
With Version 3 you can specify a remote Windows NT machine, where the software
should be installed. See Remote Installation for
details.
