The service is working properly on applications which are console based. In this case calls to stdout and stderr and reading from stdin will succeed.

In some cases you may also want to start up a GUI process on the local machine running under a different account. This is also possible if you specify 'Allow Service to Interact with Desktop' in the Control Panel -> Services
